Much mystique surrounds this five letter word. In Sanskrit the word “Karma” means “Action”. This action refers to both thought and deed. Some believe that the reason behind many of our thoughts and deeds in the present, can be traced back to something that has happened to us in the distant past.

Basically, Karma is the law of cause and effect. Karma is a spiritual means of providing the checks and balances as we progress through our spiritual journeys. Some people refer to this as “Karmic Debt” and believe that we must pay a price for our past actions - but this is too simplistic and also self-defeating.
